Soon on the Grapevine: Food & Drink Festival

This Friday Alex and I will be chatting with the good folks from the Hamilton Food & Drink Festival.

6th Annual Food & Drink Fest, Copps Coliseum

April 8-10: Friday 5 pm–10 pm, Saturday 1 pm–10 pm, Sunday 12 noon–5 pm.

Tickets: $15 at the door, $12 online.

Note: Food and drink sample tickets are extra/Must be 19 or older to attend. No children or infants allowed/Cash only is accepted at the show.

There will be over 130 of Hamilton, Halton and Niagara regions’ restaurants, bakeries, craft breweries and wineries awaiting scads of food enthusiasts. With admission you get a wine glass, and sample tickets are 12 for $10 or 25 for $20. Most samples are between 1- 4 tickets.

There will be live demonstrations and music, and attending will be: the Ancaster Mill, Acclamation, KOI, La Piazza Allegra, Slainte, My Thai, The Pheasant Plucker, The Vicar’s Vice, Puddicombe Estate Farms and Winery, Rosewood Estates, Rockway Glen Golf Course & Estate Winery, Better Bitters, Big Rock, Creemore Springs and Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery.

Remember to bring a non-perishable food item for the annual Foodies for Food Drive will be collecting donations for Hamilton Food Share. 8,100 children go to bed hungry everyday in our community.

Alex and I will be attending on the Friday of the festival! I’m excited; it’s my first time!  We’ll be posting pictures after, so stay tuned.
